El servicio fue precedido por un desfile policial.<\/p>\n<p>El Gobernador de Ontario, Teniente David Onley, fue uno de los 6.000 asistentes, as\u00ed como el Jefe de la Polic\u00eda de Toronto, Bill Blair.<\/p>\n<p>Kovach muri\u00f3 el 14 de marzo, cuando perdi\u00f3 el control de su patrulla mientras respond\u00eda a una llamada alrededor de las 12:30 am y se estrell\u00f3 contra un autob\u00fas de tr\u00e1nsito de Guelph, despu\u00e9s de cruzar el carril central en la calle Imperial.<\/p>\n<p>La oficial falleci\u00f3 en el hospital. Mientras que el conductor del autob\u00fas, que no cargaba pasajeros, sufri\u00f3 heridas leves.<\/p>\n<p>Las autoridades trabajan para determinar la causa del accidente.
